CHEHAB BROTHERS S.A.L. , was established in the year 1949 in Beirut / Lebanon . It was founded by a group of three brothers , L’emir Zakaria Chehab , L’emir Abdul-Halim Chehab and L’emir M. Mounir Chehab .

The importance of new industries launched in Lebanon during early fifties  caused the initial step for Chehab Brothers to import and sell various Industrial machines and relative tools and equipment in Lebanon . The excellence in technical , marketing and managerial skills , customer satisfaction and service was a winning card .

Throughout the years , Chehab company grew to be one of the largest family owned companies in Lebanon . we gained an extensive reputation and good relations worldwide , especially in Italy , Japan , USA , Germany , Switzerland , U.K. , China , Denmark , Austria , France , Poland and Romania. We increased and expanded our sales program , strategy  and product groups in the Middle East , Africa and the European markets .

Today, the company holds more than 15,000 items in stock , consisting of machine tools , woodworking machines , power tools , welding machines , electrical equipment and components , construction equipment , building materials and submersible & centrifugal pumps .

Our 120 employees are divided over its four branches in Beirut, Tripoli, Saida and Zahle’ Bakaa Valley. Each branch has its own management that is directly controlled through the central management of Beirut branch .

Fourty sales cars and delivery vans and trucks owned , are divided over its five branches to market and service its products through all the Lebanese territory .

In addition ,Chehab Brothers s.a.l. has three affiliate factories in Lebanon,and they are:

VARIOS MIDDLE EAST (Beirut/Lebanon) founded in 1967 . Consists of two different factories for the production of welding electrodes and another for the cutting and grinding resin discs . Our quality is guaranteed to be among the best manufactured welding and grinding products world wide , which are exported to Europe , Africa and the Middle East markets .

CHEHAB INDUSTRIAL & MEDICAL GAZES (Beirut/Lebanon) , established in the year 1978 . Chehab gas manufactures Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Acetylene.  We also have a special division for the sales of Industrial Gases such as  Argon, Helium , Carbon Dioxide and Nitrous Oxide in Lebanon and Syria . Our medical gas department is ready to take any hospital project and works for the installation of all related equipment and piping of Oxygen & Nitrous oxide.

In 1985 , Chehab company established an office located in Vicenza Italy . Its special task is to handle all the company’s imports as well as exports to and from Italy, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

In 1998, Chehab Group established a business located “Chehab C.I. Sarl” in Abidjan, Ivory Coast
